Message: Feeding 20,000 - Rise Against Hunger Meal Packing Event You read that right. Queen of Peace Catholic Community is going to feed 20,000 people on Palm Sunday Weekend! This effort is in collaboration with Catholic Relief Services the official international humanitarian agency of the Catholic community in the United States. CRS Helping Hands meal packaging events are a partnership between Catholic Relief Services and Rise Against Hunger. CRS provides the resources and event assistance and Rise Against Hunger provides the food, supplies, event day management and logistical expertise. Volunteers of all ages are welcome and children may serve along with their parents/guardians. The effort requires at least 80 volunteers!
