William "Bill" Alfred Greenman's Obituary
William Alfred “Bill” Greenman, age 78 of Gainesville, Florida, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017 at his home. Bill was born May 16, 1939 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Alfred and Dorothy Alsop Greenman. A member of the United States Air Force, he proudly served his country in Vietnam. He then worked with American General Financial Services for 40 years. Bill enjoyed fishing and VA Tech football, golf and family times at the beach.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Joan McDaniel Greenman; children, Shellie Greenman of Jacksonville, FL and Travis and his wife, Bobbie Greenman of San Antonio, TX; sister, Barbara Keegan of Bradenton, FL and grandchildren, Austin, Jacob and Emma of San Antonio, TX.
A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 1:00 p.m., in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 North Main Street with Scott Whittaker as celebrant.
