I was thinking of this man the other day and ran across his name. I worked for Bill for 2 years in 1993. I learned so much from this man in the short time I worked for him. He taught me more than he would ever know. I can still remember his laugh to this day. Great man!! I know he is missed by many. Rest in peace my friend. Will Hoover
Hi, I hope this isn't too intrusive of me but my name is Dori Aravis. I served in the Air Force with Bill, both at Chanute Air Base and at Hamilton. I was the person who drove him to Travis Air Base when he deployed to Viet Nam. I have been doing some work on my family's history and put his name in to see if I could find him. So sorry to see that he has passed. Bill was a great friend and a great guy. I still have a picture of him at the California State Fair -- we stopped there on our way to Travis. I will always remember that day with kindness and with sadness, so worried about him going to Viet Nam. I am so sorry for your loss.
