There will be a Memorial Fellowship for Wayne on Friday November 16th, from 6-9 pm at Riverchase UMC in Birmingham, AL
Wayne was a wonderful swim coach and a warm, loving, consistent adult in my childhood and teen years. I'm so grateful for the time I had with him.
Wayne has been a faithful and generous supporter of Project: Pag-asa (https://www.project-pagasa.ph/) for many years. He would check in with us and I know he was also praying for us. Our school caters only to orphans, and receives no government funding. His faithful financial support was a true blessing to us and his legacy will live on in many students who have an education in part due to him.
Wayne and DeLane were our neighbors and friends when they lived in FWB, Fl and we were members of First Baptist Church together. Delane was my very best friend in the world. I lost a sister when we all lost her. Now my dear friend Wayne is with her is glory. Happy reunion. Our boys were the same age and we went through three adoptions and one birth together.
