Thomas Tucker's Obituary
Thomas Franklin Tucker, age 78 of Gainesville passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2022, after a long illness. He was born March 27, 1943, in Alachua, FL to Franklin P. and Elizabeth Beatrice Rose Tucker.
He proudly served in the U.S. Army, retiring as Master Sergeant serving 3 tours of duty in Vietnam.
He enjoyed watching old movies, sports (especially the Gators and Cincinnati Reds), the VFW and American Legion.
He is survived by his children, Thomas E. Tucker and wife Terri, John Tucker, Michael Tucker and wife Hollie and Mary Tucker; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy L. Tucker, brother, John Tucker and sisters, Lucille Merseal and Betty Jean Thompson.
Weep not for me, my rides up.
