I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Stuart for 25 years during my career at UF. Although we lost touch after my retirement in 2010, I will always remember him as a friend and mentor whom I greatly respected.

Steve & I have known Stuart for more than 40 years. He was a loving & supportive dad & grandpa. He was a good friend to many. Steve was one of a group of old guys that got together every Thursday for a few beers--usually at Turkey Creek. Without Stuart I'm afraid that will be a thing of the past. Rest in Peace
Stu--we will miss your great sense of humor & kindness. Cancer takes so many wonderful people.

I hope everyone who knew Stuart will consider doing what I did to honor his memory by contributing to STOP! Childrens Cancer – a worthwhile cause on behalf of a worthwhile man who, upon his passing, let it be known, to those of us left behind, that his care for others extended to the most vulnerable of all – children with cancer.

I first met Stuart in 1987 while working at UF. My employment changed, but as luck would have it, the professional relationship with Stuart continued until my retirement in 2016, whereupon he and I went our separate ways. Stuart was fair, honest, and good at what he did for UF. That’s how I will remember him, so if there’s a God, and I believe there is, I take comfort in knowing Stuart’s soul will rest in peace for eternity with God in heaven.
