I only knew Steve on line through the National El Camino Owners Association. He was a Deputy director for Florida and one of the Deputy National Directors. He was my "Right Hand Man" taking care of duties on the National Level. He is going to be missed by many.
Leo Janssens
National Director, National El Camino Owners Association
Sincere condolences to the family.
I will remember all his efforts with the events he organized and the help he gave with his knowledge to the El Camino world.
We did quite a few lunches at old Gainesville places that only the natives knew about and talked Gators.
I'm sure going to miss him.
I have known Steve for almost 15 years when he joined us in the National El Camino Owners Association . Steve started the Gainesville Get Together that drew up to 50 El Caminos , sometimes held twice a year . Steve held several positions with our club and was greatly responsible for our successes . Steve was most proud of his family and racing his Camino He was always looking for ways to help others be it car related or not . His quiet demeanor and glad to see you attitude will be greatly missed by many people . As the old cowboy song goes " happy trails to you , until we meet again " .
I’m so sorry to hear about Steve I did not know him personally but I remember the Halfacres from Westside. I was at Westside Baptist Church for 13 years and my family the juniors and Mixsons still go there im Joshua Junior the son of Cork Junior who passed 4/7 and Connie Junior.
