Shirley Walker Andrews' Obituary
Shirley Walker Andrews, age 82 was born in Marietta, Georgia on August 6, 1932 and died in Gainesville, Florida on March 11, 2015. Shirley lived in Gainesville for over 50 years and was the proud mom of three daughters. She loved music, watching her granddaughter play in the Gainesville High School Band, and animals, including several cats she rescued. She was a Registered Nurse for many years and enjoyed getting to know and caring for patients. She was a member of the First Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents Roy and Virginia Walker of Atlanta, GA. She is survived by her sisters and brother: Florence Walker Record (Bud) and Vinita Walker Bullard (Tom) and brother, Edward Nelson Walker (Karen); her daughters: Virginia Bryan (Jim), Deborah Warden (Tom), and Vivian Graham and granddaughter Kelley Ann Graham; as well as many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be celebrated Saturday, March 28, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. in WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 N.W. 143 St., CR 241 North 32669. A reception will be held immediately following the service at Williams-Thomas Westarea.
