Pat Hunt (Sherry Wright) was my friend since highschool. She was always thoughtful and kind! As highschool girls we shared many common interests, including domesticated pasttimes such as sewing, cooking & baking. We spent hours together, combing through cookbooks to find our next creative adventure. She told me recently that she still treasured a cookbook that my mother gave to her. We remained close friends beyond our school days, and honored eachother when we chose bridesmaids for our own wedding. When Pat married highschool sweetheart Larry Hunt, I was a bridesmaid in her wedding. When I married my highschool sweetheart Roger Yaskin in 1966, I chose Pat to be my maid of honor as well. Long-lasting, true friends are not easy to find, and Pat will remain special in my heart forever!
