Sandra Sue (Torr) Wittmer of Gainesville, Florida, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 18, 2024, at the age of 87. She was born to the late Edmond and Ethel (Hunt) Torr in 1938 in Greencastle, Indiana. She is survived by he Read Obituary
We remember Sue as our sister in the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority Gainesville and Ocala GPB Alumnae Chapter. I particularly remember Sue knowing our Sorority Songs from way back in her college years. Thank goodness. I was hopeless singing them and followed her lead.
Sue was such a kind beautiful person….I was a student in Counselor Ed. and remember seeing her with always a bright smile and kind word to say. I remember how much Dr.Wittmer adored her and how he always smiled talking about her (and his kids and grandchildren). She helped to make his world so happy and complete. Christy Warring Blair
