Sandra "Sandy" Jean Williams' Obituary
Gainesville – Sandra “Sandy” Jean Williams, 69 of Gainesville, passed away Tuesday, April 21, 2015.
She was born June 4, 1945 in Knoxville, TN. She is an alumnus of Southeastern Louisiana University class of 1967. She worked as a Lab Technician with Auburn University, U.A.B., U.G.A., and recently retired from U.F. College of Medicine working as a Senior Lab Animal Technician and assistant in the clinical lab where she taught pathology residents necropsy techniques. She was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, wife, and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her father “Bill” Phillips and her son “Scott” Williams. Sandy is survived by her mother Joy Phillips, brothers Daniel and James Phillips, husband Patrick Malandruccolo of 24 years, her son and daughter-in-law Sean and Kelly Williams, and her granddaughter Olivia Williams.
A memorial service honoring the life of Sandy Williams will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 at 2:00p.m. in the chapel of WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME DOWNTOWN, 404 N. Main St., Gainesville, FL 32601.
