Sandy is my sister in law, married to my brother. But we liked to think of ourselves as sisters, both of us being essentially the same age, and having only brothers! We both wished that we could have lived closer so as to share more of our lives together. She was the ultimate nice person, not having a single cell of meanness in her little body! My parents always asked Patrick, "How's that little girl of yours?" And to Pat, she was his "Darlin' Angel"! She truly loved him unconditionally, and that was a big job! They renewed their wedding vows at my home with family present some years ago. It was especially touching and timely, following the death of our mother a few days before. I will miss sweet Sandy. And I especially grieve for my brother, who will deeply feel her absence. Rest in peace, Sandy.
Love, Carolyn
