Mr. Trippensee was a wonderful next-door neighbor to my parents, especially after my dad passed away. He would trim the hedges between the houses, and he occasionally ran his mower through mom's front yard. It's sad to see the folks in the neighborhood pass on, but he was the epitome of what a good neighbor should be. I hope Laura and the rest of the family finds peace in knowing he was a trusted neighbor and a caring soul.

Deepest condolences to the family and friends of Russ, a lovely man. I was delighted to attend his wedding to sweet Laura -- a match made in heaven.
Uncle Russ was the nicest person I’ve still ever come across. I used to help at his shop and he taught me so much and had so much passion for what he did and so much care for the customers that came to him. I remember we had an ongoing joke with him- whenever my sister or I wore jeans designed with rips in the knees he would jokingly say “Probably time for a new pair.” I’m so glad that we had the pleasure of knowing him because he truly was a light in the lives of everyone he encountered and will be so missed 🤍.
Uncle Russ met each day with a smile and each challenge with patience. He offered kindness and compassion to everyone and shared so many smiles and so much energy with anyone fortunate enough to know him.
Having Laura’s grand-nieces and nephew hold up a joyfully decorated sign, asking her to marry him, is a treasured memory. He is deeply loved and will be deeply missed.
