Amber, Gail, and family: there are no words to express the sorrow that is felt by so many with Robert's passing. Robert exemplified courage when faced with his ALS diagnosis. As a family you exemplified grace and love. Amber has tirelessly cared for Rob during his illness with such compassion and devotion all the while allowing him total control and autonomy. She has lived up to the vows she took as his wife; to love and comfort in sickness and in health. For those of us that prayed and loved your family through this discouraging journey we have learned what it is to truly love another by your example. God bless the Garrett and Wells family during this sad time and God bless Robert, who is now and forever at peace with the Lord, Jesus Christ.

Love Rob, met Rob threw my brother Charles and he became a part of our family, the brother from another mother. That boy could get down on a plate of soul food.
