Having served on Richard's doctoral committee at U Illinois, where we enjoyed many thoughtful conversations, I retain many fond memories of Richard's wide-ranging mind, sharp wit, and keen eye. My heart goes out to those near and dear to Richard. I am honored to make a donation to Doctors without Borders in his memory.
