Kathy
When I think of Rich, I will always think of softball, soccer and cleaning out my recycle food cans!!! He would say "your garbage man, doesn't want to smell your garbage!!"
I always knew I had a sideline partner who I sat with at every game. He would help me follow the game from his days of coaching or often times, he would get side tracked and talk about something totally random too, which always left me in laughter.
I will never put my softball chairs or canopy tent away without thinking of him & Maureen and the stories we shared under that tent and of course the comments on how much stuff I brought to the games!!! But he sure enjoyed that extra umbrella I had the day it poured on us in Williston!! We would laugh and laugh at the horrible calls the umpire had or the "head" coaches bad plays!!!
His bright white smile will forever live in my heart. And of course, the smile he had for Maureen and Maggie (the "princess" dog). I swear his smile got bigger when either of them walked in the room. He was a big teddy bear and mush!
Lastly, I will miss how much he loved to share old stories of each one of his family members. I swear I know you all!! I am so thankful that you all shared him with us and I know his memory will live within me and my girls for years to come.
Go Gators! We will miss you tons Rich!!!
