I love you, my son, my sonshine, and I will always miss you so deeply. You brought a light into this world that shined upon many. My world has become so dark without you.
Til we meet again, I love you, always and forever son.

I worked in Cross City FDOC with Officer Christison. He was a truly good person thru and thru. He was quickly loved by all of us from Day 1. He always had kind words and a pleasant smile no matter what. I don't think I ever once heard a harsh word from him towards anyone. Even when things we're tough. I don't know his parents or his wife ( whom he spoke fondly of often). But I sure hope his parents know without a doubt what a fine young man, officer and friend he was on the job. God's speed my friend. You will be missed by so many.
So very Sorry for your Loss, I have worked with this Wonderful , Funny ,Blessed man for over 2 yrs at Cross City Corrections. He Started in the Kitchen when I did, we Laughed, Joked, and RAN that Kitchen Sweet. He was the One who STARTED,the word we use Now All the TIME " CHICKEN HAWK" which meant Don't let the Inmates In , there gonna Steal all our Chicken.. He was RESPECTED by AlI inmates !! He was Strong when he Needed to be a Friend to others and Guidance to Others.. So VERY SAD ... He called me Aunt Gilbert , so my Sweet Man I love you, RIP My Nephew...
Richard was a genuinely "Good Soul". He will be missed.
