We were neighbors in Crystal Lake, Illinois. Ralph introduced my husband Bart to the game of golf. He always enjoyed playing golf with Ralph. We also enjoyed partying with other neighbors on our block, and enjoyed going out to dinner with Ralph and Eunice.
After he moved to Florida, we were still in contact via email., and saw him when he went to Joe's Barber Shop in CL. We cherish these memories, and extend our sympathy to the entire Brick family.
Not getting a response from him for our Fourth of July Jacquie Lawson e-card and other emails, I decided to do some sleuthing, finding out July 13.

My sincere condolences to you, Mary Jo, and the entire family for your loss.

I considered Ralph a true friend back to the time we worked together in System Operations Control, United Airlines corporate headquarters. We were both Air Force veterans.

He beat me regularly at golf, if my memory serves me correctly, and I have never forgiven him.
