I met Nancy in 1972 when Dennis hired me as secretary at the Temple Terrace United Methodist Church. Nancy and Dennis were a couple who lived each other and their Lord. At Temple Terrace, Nancy could be called on in any emergency and always had a beautiful smile. All these years we stayed in touch. I shall miss our long distance friendship.

I treasure my friendship with Nancy, although we never met in person. We were first connected via an online Christian ministry when I sought prayer for my mother. My prayer need was assigned to Nancy! That was in 2001 and we kept communicating (cards, letters, phone time) ever since. How she loved her family as she often gave me the latest update on each one...and she listened and encouraged me along the experiences in my life. My deepest condolences to the family. Ms. Delacure was a very special woman. I worked with her son, Steve, for years and he was a great guy to work with. I knew David, her grand-son, also. He was a fine man as well. I am sure she will be missed.
