Even though I knew that Terri wasn’t well and that the news of her passing would come at some point, I’m still very sad. She was the first person to reach out to me besides my official “buddy”.
I enjoyed her company at meals, concerts and informal chit-chats when we bumped into each other on the 4th floor. She entertained me with stories about growing up in England, such as when she got to see Elvis from right up close.
She also told me about raising the family in different places around the world—including the Middle East if I’m remembering correctly.
We liked to talk about current events in the US, too, partly because our political values were so similar.
I am so sorry that you have lost such a wonderful person. I plan to to attend the service in September if Jau’s son can give us a ride. Hopefully I will be able to share my condolences in person.

P.S. Since your Mom left The Village many people have wondered what has happened to cute little Benji!
