Mr. Michael “Mick” C Mickey of Ft. White was called home unexpectedly at the age of 69 on May 27, 2024. He is survived by his loving wife Lynn Gardner, their 2 pups Jazz and Ripp, his 3 siblings Charlie, Jean and Donna and many ni Read Obituary
Met Mikey on the lower half of our property while pulling vines out of trees. He was our neighbor, became a great friend. He gladly helped us women out of many a tight spot. Fixed the water leak, dryer, or put in a new sink. He even came to the rescue with cornbread when we were out. He is loved dearly and is missed.

From the first time I met Mick I knew he was just a big teddy bear. He was such an amazing supporter of Lynn and they made a great team. Mick loved big and hard just like he did everything else. He had a soft spot for our daughters which endeared Eric and I to him even more. I'm thankful we were able to see him several times in the last year or so at family events. We will miss him dearly. Rest in peace, we love you!!!
I met Mick at a young age, and he seemed so big, and so loud. I immediately learned that as large as he was, his energy and love was somehow greater.
Mick became a father figure to many, his nieces and nephews, friends, and dogs. He was a man of faith and personified helping thy neighbor. Mick was my birthday buddy, my favorite Uncle, and an all around amazing human. I deeply cherish the time I had with him.
Mick, I hope you are eating all the steak, potatoes, and Dairy Queen up there. I can't wait to get one of your famous bear hugs when I see you again.
