To Mikes family: we just found out about Mike and we are so sad to hear this news. We would like to offer our prayers and condolences over your loss. My husband is an LVAD patient and Mike came to see him prior to his surgery and made him feel much more comfortable about going through the surgery. He was so comforting and confident and made the LVAD not so scary. We will forever appreciate Mike taking the time to come in and see us and spoke with him again at the group meeting a few months ago. We are honored that he took the time to spend with us. My deepest condolences to Jackie and the family. My brothers and I grew up with Mike and Jackie, Healy Ct was our neighborhood and all of our families and kids were very close! It saddens me to the core that Mike has left us. A great kid and a wonderful man! I hope Heaven has ice hockey and baseball fun for you! Sweet memories, rest well Mike.

My favorite memory of Mike is a time back in high school when Mike, Jackie, Phil Herwig & Ron Lerhman and myself went out and played golf! It was a hoot! Honestly can’t remember a time that Mike was smiling!
