Michael F. Clifford's Obituary
Michael F. Clifford, 67, of Gainesville passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at the Malcom Randall VA Medical Center. He was born May 23, 1949 in Mineola, New York to John and Joan Gallagher Clifford. Michael proudly served his country, being a Vietnam US Navy Veteran. His grandchildren were his life.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Peach. He is survived by his sons, Daniel (Kimberly) Clifford of Laurel, Maryland, Jamie (Beth) Clifford of Gainesville, and Tom (Cat) Clifford of Gainesville; sister, Susan Schildknecht of Ft. Lauderdale, and 6 grandchildren, Emma, Will, Rylan, Marin, Eleanor, and Adelaide.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 10900 SW 24th Ave, with Fr. Ron Camarda as celebrant. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 6, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd Street.
