Phyllis Mangino Cambria
Mike, Pat/Peach and I went to East Meadow High School together and I remember both of them so well. They were such great people and had so many friends.
Mike was on the football team and I was a cheerleader and we used to all have such a good time at our "victory" parties and other group events.
After graduation, as it often happens, we lost touch with each other. Last year I reconnected with Mike on a social media page and he told me about Peach's passing which was beyond sad. But he also told me about what a great family they had and how blessed he felt.
This year, we are planning the EMHS '67 reunion and Mike was planning to attend. I really was looking forward to seeing him. The reunion is going to be less bright without him and Peach.
