Sincere sympathy to all the family of Mary..The ladies who went out to each every month really missed having Mary with us...I remember that I took her to a concert at the church at night because she did not drive and she and Jean really enjoyed the concert and was pleased that someone would take her..She was very special and we all miss her........Those we love don't go away..They walk beside us every day..Unseen, unheard, but always near..Still loved, still missed and very dear......... Death leaves a heartache no one can heal...Love leaves a memory one can steal....Love and blessings to all her family and know she was a real special lady......Barbara S. Weeks
I feel privileged to have been considered a friend by Maxine. We met as members of Friends of the Villages Library and enjoyed a special friendship for years. We attended many events together and had a standing lunch meeting once a month until she moved to Gainesville. We were each others confidents and loved to laugh. She was so special in so many ways and shared her friendships to many. I treasure the conversation we had at her going away party and will think of her in my heart forever. God has gained a very beautiful soul.
