Mary Ann Holley Smith's Obituary
Mary Ann Holley Smith, age 85, passed away on June 27, 2021, in Gainesville, Florida. She was born on March 23, 1936, in Columbus, Ohio to Eugene and Florence White Holley.
Marianne was preceded in death by her husband of almost 50 years Donald C. Smith who passed away in 2004. She was also preceded in death by her brother Don.
She is survived by her daughters, Teri (Reed) Boardman, Debbie (Steve) Holway, Shelli Manassa; sons, Donnie (Lisa) Smith, Scott Smith, Danny Smith; brother Rick Holley; sister Carol Boehm; grandchildren, Will, Sean, Chad, Ben, Justin, Nicole, Caleb, Josh, Dustin, Hannah, and 15 great-grandchildren.
Marianne moved from Athens, Ohio to Gainesville, Fl.in 1974 and worked at Sun Bank and Barnett Bank. She then moved to Orlando, Fl. in 1980 and worked at Nations Bank, and Bank of America.
She was a member of Holy Faith Catholic Church in Gainesville, Fl., and a member of St Mary Magdalen in Orlando.
She was a very devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
A celebration of Marianne’s life will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at Williams-Thomas Westarea 823 N.W. 143rd Street Newberry, Fl.
