Dede will be missed. Although friends in high school, when I moved away between sophomore and junior year we didn't keep in close touch. Imagine my surprise when I was toting my stuff into the dormitory at Northwestern to see Dede and her mom two doors down the hall from my room! That began a long, fun, close relationship at Northwestern and subsequent years. Many laughs. Sharing a hotel room at the 50th reunion was fun and talking on the phone periodically always generated some laughs.
I am so glad Dede was in my life - and always will be.
