Marisa blessed us by showing us how to cherish all moments given to us. With rest, she awakened to smile, sing, laugh, be with friends, enjoy family, and celebrate favorite things. Her amazing family gave her so many opportunities. With this, it was the Spirit of Marisa who fully lived to embrace them all.
I was so fortunate and proud to work with Marisa as her para for five years. She was a loving young lady who had a sharp wit. She loved funny stories. She loved to draw, sing, and dance. She was very social and was loved by many of her classmates and teachers.
