Good memories of a couple shared times. Ed, Marilyn, AND Scottie met me and my family at Kennedy Space Center one family vacation. And a few years after that, while on a driving vacation, stopped to visit us in CO! So glad for those memories. And how I looked forward to her Christmas cards!!! We usually managed to correspond a couple times a year. She will be missed in a big way for the little things. Deepest sympathy, Tracy and Shelly and families. Marilyn's Family,
Marilyn and Ed were special relatives whether they lived in MI or FL. They often stopped to see Mom. Harold, I, and family visited them numerous times in Gainesville. We were always warmly welcomed.
Marilyn had a gentle, loving soul and winning smile. After our husbands passed we continued to keep in touch by phone or email. Marilyn was an encourager: positive, affirming, and a saint who trusted and loved Our Lord.
May each of you receive His comfort, strength, hope, and eternal love.

After our mother (Ed's sister Helen) died at a young age in 1980 I really lost communication with her side of the family. And even before I never really knew Aunt Marilyn well. However, I did very much admire her and was in awe of her a tad. I appreciated her artistic abilities and perhaps she was an influence on me in that respect. She also seemed very young, energetic and adventurous.
Also a big hearty HELLO to all my cousins!

In 1982 I believe Tom and I brought Tom's Mother Mary, Ed's sister to Florida to visit. Our 2 children were like 6 and 5 and she let them swim in her hot tub and did not mind the splashing at all. She was so happy to see all of us.
I took all of her Christmas Cards she painted and put them all in a matted frame and I have them hung in my sewing room and put them in the living room at Christmas for all to see. They are all very beautiful.
