Marie was such a nice lady. I knew her from the Orange City Lions Club bingo. She would play with Debbie and Ruthie-those were the days! She will be missed. Keeping her whole family in my thoughts and prayers!
I joined the M&M family in 2012 ..the first time I met Miss Marie was during my job interview.. Matt and Mellody were in the midst of talking to me when Miss Marie came out of nowhere and asked one simple question “What if someone offers you more money?” To which I replied “It’s not about money “ She looked me straight in the eyes,didn’t say a word ,stood up and as she walked away said “Hire her”. That began an amazing 6 year journey as her partner in crime .. we worked together, had numerous lunch breaks (which she always insisted on paying for )and was patient enough to take me to Bingo where I swear she was the fastest Dobber in the land .. she was straight forward, honest as the day was long and sometimes a royal pain .. but I loved her with all my heart .. she got me and I got her..she was my mentor, my friend and one of the most authentic human beings I have ever known .. ..love you Miss Marie … hope you win the biggest Bingo jackpot ever in heaven ❤️❤️
As kids Sissy and I were best buds And she was perhaps the best athlete of us all; She will always have a place in my best memories and always in my heart.
It’s a very hard thing to lose your Mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Praying for all of y’all over these next very difficult times. What a legacy she leaves by the life she lived I knew of her from the Lake Mary store.
