Maria, we have lost not only a dear friend but a dear sister. So many things shared, good time, the joys and worries as our children were growing up and the pride as they became wonderful young adults. Your warmth, generosity, and love will stay with us always and will always be felt by all you left behind. But we felt lucky that you were in our lives for so long and you will continue to be among us.

Such a fun lady! A favorite memory is Maria riding with me to Anita and Katie's state volleyball tournament in Chattanooga, yakking all the way.
