I am sorry to be unable to attend today, traveling to a conference in TX. I attended high-school with Marcia, and recently we were starting to build more of a friendship. She contacted me the last few years to make custom Christmas ornaments for Brooke and Hunter, another example of the loving, thoughtful person she was. We met for dinner this past January when I was driving back to GA from a family visit in Miami. We had a lovely dinner and I was looking forward to more times with her in the future. I am saddened by her unexpected departure, but I do know she has left a lovely family legacy behind, particularly of memories in the firm of Christmas ornaments she told me all about.

Marcia and I have been, as she named us, bestest buddies, since 7th grade when we were 13. So many memories made during our 56 yr friendship. In each other's wedding, birth of child/children, death of spouses, births of grandchildren. I loved her with my whole heart. This is the worst loss for me other than my husband. So many memories, I just can't think there won't be more. We went to NYC for a long weekend about 3 yrs ago. It was at Christmas time. We had a most wonderful time. Marcia, I'll always love you.
