Marcell was my next door neighbor for nine years. It was such a pleasure to be her friend. We had so many hours just to talk, laugh and cry. Every conversation she would talk about her family and how much she loved them. Marcell will be in my heart and never be forgotten. I am thankful for knowing her and will miss her. We will be together again.

I remember Marcell from working with her at the clerk's office. Everytime we met, I remember her smile and helpful attitude. I looked forward to seeing her in Civil each time I came from the criminal department. She was so helpful in helping me send for my father's service record from.the Marines during WWII. The first time I met Marcell Brown she gave me the impression that she absolutely loved life. She was talking and I felt like she was constantly on the verge of laughing out loud. I knew from the minute I met her why all the ladies at the courthouse loved working with her. When I got to know her well I found that she did love life and could not wait to retire so she could do all the things she had always planned.
Sometimes life takes unexpected turns and she had some medical problems that kept her for doing all those things that she had planned, but she still wanted to let her “girls” in the civil department just how much she loved them and worried about each and every one of them. To know Marcell was to know what the term “Mother Hen” meant.
I’m sure that other ladies that went before have greeted Marcell and they are all catching up with who has been doing what. I know for sure that the conversation sounds a bit like someone is laughing and just enjoying every minute of the reunion.
