Mabel Elizabeth Godwin's Obituary
Mable Elizabeth Godwin 85 years old of Gainesville, FL passed into her Lord and Saviors loving arms, on January 21, 2021.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ira and Corrie McGhin, her sister; Viva Morris, her brother; Ira (Buddy) McGhin, and her granddaughter; Michelle Elizabeth Tenney. Mable leaves behind her husband of 66 years Rev. William Leon Godwin. Her daughter; Belinda Susan Morris (Steve), and her grandson Christopher Anthony Tenney ( Taylor), sister; Patricia Goolsby, sister-in-law; Yvonne McGhin, so many cousins, nieces, nephews, and lifelong friends. The family will hold a private graveside service, in the care of William Thomas Funeral Home. Video of the service will be available on their website.
