When my husband & I were new to Newberry, Linda saw us at the Bakery Mill sitting by ourselves. She invited us to sit with he & her group of friends, after that, we were welcomed with open arms. We really felt at home & looked forward to the Sat & Sun breakfasts. Linda was a very kind, humble, loving & caring person. Linda will be extremely missed. There will never be another Linda. THANK YOU LORD FOR THE TIME WE WERE ABLE TO SHARE WITH HER.

Linda and I were friends for 60 years. We first met working at Alachua General Hospital. I am so sad to hear of her passing. I spent time with her two years ago. We could always pick up where we left off. I will miss her.

Linda's been a very dear Friend of ours for the past 10 years. Among many other things, she hosted an annual New Years Day get together for many of her & Woody's long time motorcycle Friends, and I was honored when she invited "us youngsters" to attend them. She always welcomed us with open arms, and refused to ever let us leave without some to-go containers of country cookin'. It was impossible not to enjoy time spent with her in person, as well as time on the phone.
You will be missed, Linda, and the world not the same place without you.

Linda will be greatly missed. During the many years teaching at Glen Springs our family became friends. Linda loved showing my husband the many plants she had. When the tour was over, my husband had many plants to replant in our yard. Since her passing, the plants are a living remembrance of her.
