Kristy was my friend in our Bloom school years. I remember riding my bike to your house and you lived next door to my dad's boss, John Giolito. I always remember your dad's laugh and your mom being so friendly. I slept over one time and the siamise cat's tail swung over our head's all night. We played jacks for hours on your front porch. Kristy and I lost touch in high school and afterwards. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I will keep your family in my prayers. Kay Hinueber Nordmark, Chandler, Az.

Along with so many memories of teaching with your passionate mom at Buchholz, I still keep a little "bootie basket" she wove and gave to me when Grant, my now 33 year-old son, was born. I also keep (and share with my English class students) an essay about Macbeth's misuse of power Grant wrote when years later, he was in Ms. Geiszler's English class. I loved his essay, and I loved her insightful and wonderfully positive and encouraging comments. I also remember how much she cared about you when you were in my class; she always talked about you and insisted I understood all your "wonderfulness." Your mom is memorable, and I'm glad I knew her.
