Kenneth Wayne Vest, age 67, passed away at his home in Lake City, Fla., on Nov. 25, 2022, after an extended illness. He is survived in his immediate family by his loving wife, Pam Vest, of Lake City; his mother-in-law Chris Dennis Read Obituary

I have added a few family pictures of Kenneth over the years.
Kenneth and I have worked together and, been friends for many years. We would often chat about various topics including some of his interests: Dachshunds, old school rock and roll, sci fi movies, or the current home project he was working on. Since we both are originally from Alabama, we also enjoyed talking about our childhoods there and, our families. Kenneth felt compassion for others. He interacted positively with the individuals we serve at the hospital who suffer from serious mental illnesses. Kenneth was always, thoughtful and kind and patient with them. Kenneth was a gentle giant (standing over 6 feet tall). He was an intelligent, witty, kind person who will be missed by many. Sincere condolences to his family. Anne Downing
Our neighbor and friend for several years; A gentleman -- kind & caring, smart -- and funny in his reserved way. It won't be the same around here -- my heart is heavy. But, with fondness we will remember you, Kenneth.

I worked at NEFSH where Kenneth worked and remember the many funny times he was the hero for removing critters/bugs from the bldg we worked in 🤣 He was fun and humorous. I also had the pleasure of performing he and Pam’s wedding ceremony. I will miss Kenneth and pray for Pam and all the family.
