Linda and family, I am so saddened to read your mom’s obituary. I just sat down to drop her a note, opened her Facebook page first, and learned of her passing. Meeting your mom in 1972 when your dad was stationed at Kincheloe AFB, MI was my honor! She was always cheerful and happy! You and your family were so attentive to your mom, and you were dearly loved! My prayers for you all at this difficult time!

Joyce was a loving and caring person throughout her life (after she grew up). She always sent me thoughtful gifts such as seven layer cookies when I was in Viet Nam and several precious Flamingos for my gardens at home. She and Lowell were the perfect match and, a pleasure to be with. I will miss her terribly.

Linda, I am so sorry for your loss. I enjoyed working with your at Chanute when she was our x-ray tech. She was a real professional. I'm glad that you and Kathleen have kept in touch through the years. It was fun seeing you when we were still living in Florida. Joy I have known for over 20 years now. Then past 8 or so she and Lowell would come to your home for Christmas. I found her to be the most authentic, wonderful individual. Never gossiping or speaking ill if anyone. Always available, friendly and eager to help anyone at anytime. Myself and my husband Roger will miss her terribly. We just live here so much. Very grateful Linda is my family and had been. She is awesome and that only happens when raised right. Joy will be so mussed
