One of my fondest memories of Jeanne is from the early days of our lives in the 1950s. Rod and I were struggling students at the University of Miami, working part-time and attending classes full time, Because of time and money constraints, we seldom had a proper meal. Jeanne often called and expressed her concern that we were not eating well. She was such a compassionate person, always aware of others needs and offering help when she could. She and Bill reached out to us and welcomed us for frequent visits to their Hialeah home. We really enjoyed their warm hospitality and jeanne’s home cooking, especially her pot roasts, a special treat for us. We have been friends for about 75 years and still laugh about how we loved those pot roasts whenever we see each other.
Their home was a refuge for us during those difficult years, for which I will always be grateful. I am praying for Jeanne happiness and look forward to meeting her again in the next stage of our lives in the Spiritual Worlds of God.
