Jane grew up at First Baptist Church with me . She was a few years older than me but ,our parents were good friends there ! Jane’s parents were also two of my grandmother’s good friends at church! The Bradley family were always the most humble and giving folks around!! I will forever have beautiful memories of Jane! David , I want you, Heather, Emily , your son -in-law and your precious grandchildren to know that Jane’s legacy will live on in my heart forever! She was a wise woman who was my friend , mentor and Sister in Christ. I know one day soon I will see her in heaven!

Jane and I grew up together at First Baptist Church in Rock Hill, SC. Jane’s parents were active members of FBC so Jane was there a lot of time. Her parents, Mr and Mrs Bradley, were the sweetest, kindest folks. We grew to love all their family. It was so sweet when Jane and David returned to FBC after many years. They were both just good, good, people - the salt of the earth. Love and prayers to David, Heather and Emily. I know the grands were Jane’s heart.❤️

David, Heather, Emily, James and those precious grands. I am so sorry to hear about Jane’s passing. I just left Mama Jean Smith’s Service at First Baptist in Newberry and heard of her passing. Jane was truly a sweet woman of God. I learned so much from her as my SS teacher at FB. My heart breaks for you but as Jane always told us “what a wonderful day it will be when we come into the present of the Lord”. I pray for your comfort. Many hugs and much love to all of you. My name is Grace, I am Jane’s only granddaughter and share many beautiful small and big moments. One of my favorite things to do with my granny was to set the tables for our family dinner gatherings. She showed me how to set the table and how to make sure every fork was on the correct side, and I developed my own ways of putting a spin on setting up like folding the napkins with a fancy pattern. Maybe about a year ago, I became very interested in the band the Beatles! While setting up for a fancy dinner, I told my granny about my favorite Beatles song, and all the Beatles clothing I had gotten. I distinctly remember her sitting in her chair in the living room, watching me set up while we talked. I learned that when she was probably my age (13- 15) she and her friend group each chose a Beatles member to be there crush. Hers was George Harrison. I found it to be a funny but sweet story and setting up for dinner parties was the time that we talked about silly things, and conversations like those that made her so special to me. When I was visiting her in the hospital, I told her that we would both be able to set the table for the feast in heaven, I look forward to that every time I think about her!
