Sitting at my kitchen table this October 2025 morning with my son who remembers jumping off a 35 foot cliff in Mexico. Pat Sucher's name jumps into my head. I knew of him from growing up in Dayton, Ohio. And always thought, how cool is it that somebody from my area became the world. Cliff diving champion! That led to me looking up his name to tell my son more about him and finding out that he had passed this year. What a remarkable talent. My sincere condolences to his family. May his memory live on to share with others. ❤️

My friend and I met him on a train in England in 1971. He was by himself and telling my friend about what he did--high diving. We were quite impressed with him and my friend, just out of the blue, mentioned him today at lunch. We looked him up and were sorry to see he had passed away recently. We were 20 years old at the time and his stories about his line of work were so captivating to us.

So much fun performing at great adventure with him lots of laughs and midnight poker games. Competition in Hawaii and California's with him too target diving and mixed pairs high dive competition.He will be missed by our high diving community.!! Love and condolences LYNN WALKO
