I met Jimbo more than 35 years ago. I spoke with him on a daily basis and shared many many stories. Jimbo taught me how to play blackjack. I learned from him to always play “by the rules”! Our last trip to the Hard Rock in tampa was memorable. He won almost $4000 playing crabs and Blackjack! He was such a great human being - always helping everyone. I will miss him dearly! Go Gators!
I met Jimbo at normandy Park ,Miami Beach. He played basketball better than all of us. He was a gentle big person with a big heart. At times people wanted to pick on him. And they knew better if I was around..lol he was like my younger brother I never had. He knows my family and I know his family. Our heart is broken. My condolence to his wonderful family. He will be missed. We were together in September for a couple of days at his house. Like usual we had a great meal and I did a few repairs at his house. I was to return before the end of the year. It's still hard to believe. We miss you Jim.
I first met Jim when I was a freshman and I visited the pawn shop and bought a Motley Crue CD! Jim and I became instant friends.
We used to have so much fun in Gainesville at Mulligans, dinners and concerts! One great memory I have was when Jim and I went skiing in Lake Tahoe and we stopped in Reno at the casino and he introduced me to the game of craps! Jimbo was on a “roll” and he rolled 7 points and the table was on fire! It was like from a movie! Until this day I’ve never seen anyone roll like he did and have the whole table cheering! I will miss him dearly. He was such a kind person. Debbie
