James H. Candy Jr.'s Obituary
James H. Candy, Jr., age 96 of Gainesville, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2016 in North Florida Regional Medical Center. James was born September 24, 1920 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to James H. and Marion Rebecca Haines Candy, Sr.
He proudly served his country in the 8th Air Force of the United States Army Air Force during WWII while stationed at Bury St. Edmunds in England.
He was preceded in death by his wife Marjorie E. Candy. He is survived by daughter, Marjorie C. (Thomas) Malerk of Gainesville, FL; nieces, Bonnie Chappell, Nancy Vano and nephew, William Rummel.
