Joann, I was shocked to hear of the passing of Jack. It appears that his jovial outlook on life has carried on to the rest of the family, judging the upbeat, positive nature of the words written about him. I was also amazed to learn for the first time in my life that Jack had grown up on Sand Mountain, Alabama. That is a youth experience that he shared with my late father, Frank Williams, who was also raised on Sand Mountain. Mary Ann and I have fond memories of the gospel trio at Eastside, and Jack’s ability to light up any room. Just a few more days to linger, Jo Ann. Then, our faith will end in sight.
