Isabelle "Izzy" Davis' Obituary
Isabelle “Izzy” Davis, 54, of Gainesville, FL passed away November 19, 2018. lovingly surrounded by family and friends.
She was born April 3, 1964, in Fernandina Beach, FL, the daughter of Laura (McCollough) Sabia and Elmer Davis (deceased). She was the second oldest of four siblings.
She graduated from Jones college as a Medical Assistant, working in several medical offices until she found her niche as a Lead Cardiac Technician. She loved her job and the amazing people she worked with at The Cardiac and Vascular Institute.
She loved fishing, Gator football, tailgating with the neighbors and enjoying an ice-cold Corona and lime by a warm fire pit on her back porch, a.k.a. her “happy place”.
She is survived by her mother, Laura Sabia and her husband, Robert Sabia; her brothers, Toby Davis and Greg Davis; her sister, Kayla White and step-sister, Susie McKinney. She had two nephews, Michael Davis and Alex Johnson as well as two nieces, Paige Davis and Abigail Johnson whom she loved, spoiled and adored beyond measure. She also leaves behind her beloved pets, Sugar Bear and Rocket.
Izzy was preceded in death by Paul Crown of Suwannee, the one true and treasured love of her life.
A Celebration of Life Memorial will be held at WILLIAMS-THOMAS FUNERAL HOME WESTAREA, 823 NW 143rd St. on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Izzy’s honor to the Humane Society of North Central Florida, Attn: Memorials and Tributes, 4205 NW 6th Street, Gainesville, FL 32609.
