I worked with Izzy for 7 years but before that I did and internship with her and a gentalman named Tom when the old CAG Office was off 2nd ave when I was in college.
What I remember most was Izzy making me laugh. She was the girl that would take a big bite of chocolate cake and then ask “do I have anything in my teeth.” While her mouth was full of cake. She was the first person I knew that sent their dog to doggy daycare. Her dog yeller would make art work for her while at doggy day care, lol boy did she love yeller 💕
She loved salsalido (if I spelled that right) turkey meat from Publix. She loved getting together after work on Friday nights to drink margaritas and eat chips and salsa when Don Polos was around. I remember hanging out with her other friends from work and laughing our butts off with stories and or events from the week.
She was a hard worker. She loved people. She rarely got mad or rattled but if she did you’d best stay out of her way. Short people can have a temper lol If she were here she would say “ hey, I resemble that”
She loved her family. She talked of them with love and laughter often. She loved Paul. I was so happy for her when they got together and my heart broke for her when she lost him.
I hate that she’s gone. My mind has had a hard time with it. The only thing that gives me peace is knowing Izzy knew Jesus. She’s not suffering anymore. I will see her again one day.
My thoughts and prayer are with her family.
Love you Izzy! You will always hold a special place in my heart. Love Jolene
