Bill Talbot. My high school coach at Miami Killian.taught me the value of leadership and how to be humble in victory. Today is the first time that I have ever known anything about him personally, Wow, the University of Florida and the U. I just decided to see if i could find coach to say, Thanks! He really helped my professional sports and corporate career. i knew i was blessed. RIP Coach.
Bill became my mentor when I first started teaching at Sunset Sr. He taught me how to play golf and I always enjoyed my time with him. We continued to keep in touch with each other year after year and I enjoyed my visit with him the last time I was in Gainesville. He will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

Randy, I was shocked to read in the paper about your Dad's passing. Had no idea that he was in ill health. Once one reaches the 80s your friends seem to leave too frequently. Your Dad and I had great fun beating Mitty and John at golf. I shall miss him and those days.

Will always remember working with George recruiting football prospects for the University of Florida. He found a diamond in the rough when a relatively unknown player named Nat Moore caught his eye, and he persuaded the coaching staff to take a chance and sign him. The rest is history.
