What a loss! I was a client of Cork’s for many years during my tenure with the Nassau County School District. Always had great connections. Cork was a special man, never failed to take care of me and my requirements. Even took me to San Antonio for a furniture show, took me out to dinner at a revolving restaurant. Man of the highest character. I unfortunately just learned of his passing. May God be with those left behind. 🙏🏼

Thank you Cork for being the best husband to my sister, and for being the Best Dad to my niece and nephew. You were certainly the Best Brother-in-law any girl could have hoped for.
Bill and I fondly remember our trip to Florida, meeting up with my cousin Connie, and going out to dinner with Connie and Cork. Cork graciously drove Bill and I around Gainesville and Connie and I reminisced about old times we enjoyed together at Grandma's house in Gloucester. I love this photo of Cork. To me, it captures the humor and warmth that he always personified, going back more than four decades.
For years he used to come up to Tallahassee and go to FSU games with us, sometimes bringing Connie, and once with Josh, always with the great attitude.
Once when visiting with them in Gainesville, a very young Sara said something that became a seminal moment in my life.
I told him, more than once, that he used up all his luck when he married Connie. He said something funny about that being the luckiest sale he ever made.
He called just a few weeks ago, and although he was difficult to understand, I still felt the same warmth and his wry sense of humor.
We’ll miss you, my friend.
