Dear France & Marc, Bob & Connie,
The old Black Acres neighborhood we grew up in more than half a century ago felt a little bit like an extended family, and your good mom was one who made it that way. I remember that she published a story in the Gainesville Independent about a large snake we kids had discovered in the back yard, and the time she gently treated my bumped head and drove me home (less than a block!) after a "swinging kick-soccer" fall, and the home movies she made of our Eagle Club "drills" ... and when we were older, seeing her wave and smile to us almost daily as she bicycled around the neighborhood ... Thoughts of her bring us warmth and a smile. We send our condolences, and our prayers are for your family.
