We will never forget her sweet smile, her laugh, and love for her Savior. One memory we have of her at Highlands was the time there was an ole time band that played in the church. I can still see her plucking the string on her instrument which was a big wash tub. She was having the time of her life. Leonard even played the wash board. Those were sweet and loving times together at Highlands. The funniest memory we shared with her occurred at Calvary. We were visiting and sat with Mrs. Johnson. We had not seen her in a long time, so we had her sit in between us. When it came time for shaking hands and fellowshipping, one of the ladies of the church came up to Mrs. Johnson and asked her if Leonard was her husband. Well, that was the funniest thing to her. All during the church service, she would snicker and so did we. After that she called Leonard her other husband. We loved her so much and will miss her dearly.
Love to you all,
Leonard and Ernestine
